Russell Mills has achieved an AV® rating, the highest rating for legal ability awarded by Martindale-Hubbell. He focuses his practice on all phases of commercial bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation, including the representation of secured and unsecured creditors, creditors' committees, trustees, asset purchasers and debtors. He spends a significant portion of his time representing a wide range of major corporations and smaller businesses in bankruptcy proceedings involving real and personal property lease issues. He also has substantial experience in representing defendants in bankruptcy litigation involving preferential and fraudulent transfers and in litigation against officers and directors. In addition, he has experience in bankruptcy matters before the appellate courts. Russell regularly serves as a volunteer attorney for national and local political campaigns.
