Strengthens Firm's Appellate Law Practice with New Addition
The law firm of Hiersche, Hayward, Drakeley & Urbach, P.C., is announcing the addition of veteran attorney Kevin J. Keith to lead the firm's growing practice in Appellate Law.
Joining the firm as Of Counsel, Mr. Keith's practice will focus on providing counsel in a wide range of litigation support and civil appellate law matters, including the handling of all State and Federal appeals.
Mr. Keith has been Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1987. He is a member of numerous professional associations, including the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit, Dallas Bar Association, and State Bar of Texas.
In addition, Mr. Keith has served on state Civil Appellate Rules Committees and has been a lecturer at numerous legal conferences on topics that include civil appellate law and medical malpractice defense.
Mr. Keith managed a successful solo practice for the past five years after serving as a name partner with Fowler, Wiles & Keith, L.L.P., for more than a decade. He also was a partner with Bailey & Williams in Dallas after beginning his legal career with Strasburger & Price. Throughout his career Mr. Keith has concentrated on civil trial and appellate cases involving breach of contract claims, wrongful death, personal injury, products liability, professional negligence and insurance law.
Mr. Keith earned his law degree, with honors, in 1979 from the Texas Tech University School of Law, where he was associate editor of the Texas Tech Law Review. He earned his undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of Texas-El Paso in 1975.
