Scott Seifert is a trial lawyer representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of business disputes. He has tried many cases in both state and federal court and has a track record of success presenting to judges, juries and arbitrators. His experience includes complex contract cases, shareholder disputes, lease disputes, covenants not to compete, trade secrets, nondisclosure agreements, and construction cases.

Scott has been with HHDU for nearly 15 years and is a shareholder at the firm. He began his legal career in Kansas, where he worked for a large law firm in Topeka. While there, he was given numerous opportunities to try cases and develop his talents as a trial lawyer. Scott is a graduate of Washburn University School of Law, where he obtained his J.D. with Dean’s Honors and was also a member of Phi Alpha Delta. He previously attended the University of Kansas, earning his B.S. in Journalism and Advertising.

Scott is actively involved in his community. He served on the City of Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission for four years, and was selected for Leadership Frisco Class 2, served on the Board of the Frisco YMCA and chaired the annual Partner's Campaign. He is a member of the local Frisco Sunrise Rotary Club and was a founding member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Frisco. In addition, he has been a youth coach for many years, developing the talents of young athletes in football, basketball, baseball and soccer.

He is also an active member of the legal community, as a member of the Dallas Bar Association, Business Litigation Section as well as the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas.
