Community Waste Disposal is the largest privately owned waste management company in the D/FW metroplex, but it started out as a very small business in 1984. When CEO Greg Roemer was taking the company through this growth phase, he realized he needed regular access to legal counsel, and asked his accounting firm for a referral to a good business lawyer. That’s when Greg first met Bill Hayward, a shareholder at HHDU.
“Hiersche Hayward Drakeley & Urbach has been our law firm for about fifteen years now, and I think of them as our General Counsel. I have the ultimate level of trust in Bill Hayward, and that’s what keeps me coming back again and again. They have handled the company’s contracts and employment agreements flawlessly. Having a law firm that is always looking out for my company is a highly valued asset. I have also been very impressed with the estate planning work they have done for me personally, including my Will and some pretty complicated Trust documents.”
Over the years, many of the attorneys at HHDU have worked on cases and matters for Community Waste Disposal.
