Laurie Patton is an associate representing companies and individuals in a wide-range of commercial litigation matters and employment disputes. Laurie works closely with her clients to identify their objectives and develop a strategy to achieve those goals. Laurie has drafted multiple successful motions for summary judgment, including a motion that was ultimately affirmed by the 8th Court of Appeals, and has appeared before Texas state courts on numerous occasions.
Laurie graduated with honors from SMU Dedman School of Law. While at SMU, Laurie served as Associate Managing Editor for the SMU International Law Review Association and was published in the Law & Business Review of the Americas. Laurie is a magna cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication.
Laurie is actively involved in the Dallas legal community and was selected as a member of the 2015 Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Leadership Class.
