Bob Austin has worked in the institutional cooking industry for twenty years, and now owns Five Star Correctional Services, a Dallas-based food service company providing more than 50,000 meals a day at facilities located between Texas and Alabama. When Bob purchased the business in 2007 and became the CEO, he hired Jerry Hiersche to help with the legal aspects of the transaction. In the years since, Jerry’s relationship with Bob and Five Star has grown along with the company, and the attorneys of HHDU now provide a full range of legal services to Five Star.
“No matter what legal needs we come up with, Jerry and his firm have us covered. They have helped us with open records requests, payroll issues and even helped my dad with his Will. They are such a professional organization, yet there’s always a personal touch.”
Five Star now relies on HHDU for all their legal needs, and they work regularly with many attorneys at the firm, including Jerry Hiersche and Bob Van Amburgh. Bob and the team at Five Star enjoy knowing that HHDU is there for them at every step.
“One thing that makes them so easy to deal with is the way they talk to us – they don’t use legal jargon or ‘lawyerisms’ – they speak our language. When we found Jerry Hiersche and HHDU, we found a firm we never want to leave.”
